Terra, Sol - May 19th -

Preparations for the Mooncurser’s Handbook Release Party are under way at the headquarters of the Galactic Consortium.  It is now midway through the application period for the coveted invitations and the Consortium staff has heard from many excited hopefuls about their application progress. The Consortium has received more orders than available spots, so the quality of the applications will be essential in deciding which crews shall be invited to the exclusive event.

“We have endeavored to make the application process straightforward. Any crews who are unclear about the application should let the Consortium staff know,” said Kered DaVeen, Galactic Consortium Chairman and Application Judge. “At least one crew member must deliver the application, though the entire crew is not required to be present.” The Judge and his staff will be evaluating the applications after delivery. The Consortium will return application components, within reason, at a later date. DaVeen indicated the bribes would be retained, however.

Typhaknee Waddlebottom, who just today was promoted to a Handbook editor position, had this to say about Handbook orders: "There is no need to harass your mailman/woman/creature – the Handbook will not be distributed prior to the release party!"

Waddlebottom also mentioned that crews with an odd number of members can expect to see a modest single-occupancy surcharge. Captains should keep this in mind as they recruit their crew complement.
