Clicktalk
A highly compressed communication form pioneered on the first expeditions to the Glattery Frontier. Clicktalk is characterized by clicking sounds of specific pitch and duration. Since the trip to the frontier took 1.7 megaseconds, the colonists were able to perfect their skills of speaking Clicktalk directly (though their children who did not possess perfect pitch generally died young of household accidents when they did not understand their parents' warnings). Those needing to speak Clicktalk today generally take advantage of a software translator developed by LingualCorp.
