JADE FACADE
When the first offworld traders appeared on Mantar, they were awed by the huge green edifice in the town center. These first traders were so impressed that they overpaid for their goods, but the novelty of the structure lent itself to flashy advertisements that heightened demand. Due to poor placement of the local spaceport, over time the jade facade fell away, leaving a misshapen blob of a building. The status of the Mantar people fell as well, and while Mantese goods do not sell for much offworld these days, they are sold to traders even cheaper so you may be able to eke out a profit from your visit here. The Mantarian government recently passed very strict emissions laws, and all ships landing on Mantar must meet their standards or be impounded. The location is [47.6202 N, 122.3493 W].

Janthrol Death March
The Janthrol Death March of 5763 was a minor uprising of the peasant class on Raluria which had major repercussions for the ruling class, the Janthrol. This minor struggle lasted but three cycles of the sun, during which all known Janthrol were either killed outright or forced into hiding. The struggle featured entirely anticlimactic battles as the peasant class decimated the Janthrols, who had grown particularly unsuited to any sort of combat after years of hypercoke use.

Josta
Reptilians with an almost genetic resistance to change. Josta move slowly, considering and reconsidering all sides of every issue before making a decision, and have a fanatical insistence that even the smallest details be precisely as they expect them to be. Trade with Josta can be an excruciating exercise, but an extremely profitable one given their scrupulous honesty and cultural bias against haggling and negotiation. Bureaucracies are said to operate on Josta time. In deference to Josta sensibilities, Mooncursers receive a Purity Bonus of ten cedricks if their cargo contains no UNETHICAL items.

jovinut
Characterized by its enormous size, a single jovinut can grow to over three feet in diameter. The dense, rock-like shell is difficult to pierce and the meat has no nutritional value. The oil from the nut is another story. Containing absolutely no calories but acting as the culinary equivalent of a perfect flavor conductor, jovinut oil is prized by chefs and gourmands. Jovinut Magazine, featuring well-endowed men in provocative poses, is the fifth highest-selling periodical at checkout counters throughout the Confed.

Jubian diamonds
Small, translucent gemstones found only on Jub. If you're willing to pay the price, they can be found in the middle of the jewelers' section of the central market. The gems are forged naturally over the course of centuries in three massive, heavily-guarded volcanoes visible from the capital. They are painstakingly mined from partially cooled lava flows at great personal risk to the miners. Then, based on long tradition, they are individually hand-carried to the official processing center where each one is authenticated, appraised and given a unique molecular tag. That's what they tell the tourists, anyway. Actually, the diamonds are Jubian rock beetle excrement.

junerlyx
A scavenging bird with the unique innate ability to travel through the folds of space and time to gather materials for their nests. It's unclear what attracts junerlyx to specific items, but their nests are often treasure troves of bric-a-brac from a myriad of worlds and time periods. Scientists have been unable to capture a junerlyx to analyze its abilities, though it's not from a lack of trying. As of this writing, Trustworthy Corporation's famed billion cedrick reward for a live junerlyx remains unclaimed.
