Confed Council

The governing body of the Confed, consisting of nine Thrones and twenty three Pews. The Council is charged with maintaining balance within the Confed. astromoth

Little is known about the astromoth, an elusive creature seen only in fleeting glimpses in the space between star systems. The astromoth reportedly rides solar winds using enormous, sail-like wings upwards of twelve smoots long, and is apparently one of the few known organisms capable of surviving in the vacuum of space. Should a Mooncurser be able to capture a live astromoth, he could easily fetch a base value of 12 cedricks for the animal.

PERGOBELLUM

Found only in certain highly advanced species, the pergobellum is the division of the brain responsible for perceiving one's environment as music. Pergobellum is also the name given to the planet where the first such advanced species evolved.

Beings on Pergobellum hear different shades of red and sense the tempo of the summer breeze, but are temperamental and notoriously averse to hard labor. Industry and agriculture are nonexistent on Pergobellum, and the population pays handsomely for imported fruits and vegetables to supplement their meager homegrown supplies. Trade agents offer Mooncursers a Harvest Bonus of one cedrick for the first unique vegetable in a cargo bay, two cedricks for the second, three cedricks for the third, and so forth.

Talgon

Once a bustling planetwide megalopolis belching toxic emissions from factories, vehicles, and livestock, Talgon civilization was crushed in the wake of enormous floods triggered by global warming. The resulting planetary archipelago took gigapargs to rebuild its society, achieving a fragile equilibrium. When a transport vessel carrying vital corporate and military data was lost, that equilibrium shattered amid a wave of finger pointing and accusations.
