Location: McDonald Park, some river (SLUG) When teams arrived at their initial destination at McDonald Park, they were told to select two team members who were willing to get wet. The remaining crew received this message: For the rest of you: Return to the main road. Then pilot your ship to the foot of the bridge in McDonald Park in Carnation at Galactic Positioning Coordinates [47.6442 N, 121.9244 W]. Once you arrive you will split up to go on separate journeys. One journey will require strong legs, another fast hands and the last a strong stomach. As the rest of the team left, the first two players were issued slugs (inner tubes) and sent down to the river. They floated about a mile downriver, all the while looking out for flags that had been strung along the bank: Back at the beach, the tubers were given this information: The flags on the river were obviously nautical flags, which decoded to ten phrases describing the names of cruise lines. The number at the end of each description indicated the number of letters in the name, as a hint. The second set of information told players which letter to select out of the cruise line name to get the final answer.
